How do install the resistor on my Toyota Giraffe?
Some cars such as the Camry, C-HR, and 2019 RAV4 require a 120ohm resistor installed between pins 12 and 13. For other vehicles, it's optional, but re-enables missing functionality such as auto high beams provided by the stock LKAS camera. The resistor should have been included in your comma ai kit, but if you don't have one, it's a 120ohm 1/4 watt resistor. A common method of installing the resistor is shown here:
